Obaye-Daley re-joined the Stags in August 2016, having first played for the club throughout the 2014-15 campaign. Initially signing in October 2014, Obaye-Daley enjoyed his first taste of senior football with the club and formed a dominant partnership with Quincy Rowe in defence.
Beginning his career in the youth set-up at Leyton Orient, he joined AFC Wimbledon upon his release aged 16 and remained with the Dons for three years. After a season with the Stags, he took a break from football to focus on his career and eventually re-signed for the 2016-17 season.
